Dr. Weiss-Feldkamp was appointed to the Covenant Medical Staff in 2012. As a dedicated member of the Emergency Medicine team, she consistently provides extraordinary care with compassion and professionalism.

This morning, we gathered for a special 🇺🇸 flag raising ceremony and breakfast to honor the brave men and women who have served our country.

It was a meaningful opportunity to show our gratitude and reflect on the sacrifices our veterans have made to protect our freedom. Seeing our staff, patients, and community members come together in recognition of their courage and service made the day truly special.

A heartfelt thank-you to our amazing Covenant HealthCare Volunteers, who lovingly crocheted blankets and presented them to 48 veteran patients as a gesture of comfort and appreciation. 💙

To all veterans in our hospital family and across our community, we thank you for your dedication, bravery, and unwavering commitment to our nation. ❤️🤍💙

In honor of Respiratory Care Week, Covenant HealthCare recognized one extraordinary respiratory therapist with our 4th Annual PHIL Award™ in partnership with The FACES Foundation. 🦋

This year, we are proud to celebrate Charles “Chuck” Palm, RRT, as the 2025 PHIL Award™ recipient.

The PHIL Award™ is the only nationally recognized hospital-based program honoring respiratory therapists who provide exceptional care, compassion, and expertise, nominated by patients, families, and colleagues. Created in memory of Philip C. Lamka, the award shines a light on the vital work of those who support patients with respiratory illness every day.

Chuck joined the Covenant team with deep knowledge and skill, along with years of experience mentoring future respiratory therapists as a clinical instructor at Delta. His colleagues describe him as calm, steady, compassionate, and always willing to go above and beyond for his patients and team.

One nominator shared:
“Chuck shows up every day with calm presence. He provides a calm and caring demeanor that the kids he works with are able to feel comfortable with during treatments that can cause a lot of young children distress and fear. He talked to my son in a warm and gentle manner and held him as if he was his own. He made sure we had everything we needed and set us up to be comfortable in the room. Chuck clearly loves his job and always shows up with a positive attitude. He is a team player and jumps in to help wherever he can.”
