“Jesse brings light, kindness, and compassion to our unit, in ways that touch everyone around him. No matter how long or difficult the day has been he ends every shift with a warm "Have a blessed day!" His positivity is steady and sincere, a true gift to our team and to the patients we serve. He once stayed 45 minutes after his shift to give a patient who wasn't even on his assignment list a haircut and beard trim. The patient had been struggling and needed a boost of dignity and self-confidence. he gave that patient more than just a haircut he gave them a moment of normalcy, comfort, and care. His presence makes our hospital warmer, kinder, and a more compassionate place, and we are all better for having him on our team.”
