We had a great time today at the Michigan HOSA State Leadership Conference in Traverse City! Our EMTs and Paramedics connected with students, shared what life in EMS looks like, and gave them a chance to get hands-on inside our ambulances. It was a day full of great conversations, curiosity, and a lot of fun. These students are the future of healthcare, and we’re always proud to be part of moments like this. Thanks to everyone who stopped by. We loved meeting you!

As we continue celebrating National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, we wanted to share a couple of special moments from our Medcom (Medical 911 Dispatch Center) team. Our Medcom Supervisor, Trey, was honored with the Director’s Award, and our Communications Specialist, Annette, was given the Heart of Medcom Award. We are so proud of both of them and all of our dispatchers. The work they do every day matters more than most people ever see, and this week is just a small way to recognize the impact they have.

❤ Recently, our Genesee crew, Paramedic Tanya, Paramedic Student Ashlea, and EMT Bryson, were dispatched to a fire standby, where firefighters brought them a cat found unresponsive inside the home. Without hesitation, the crew provided oxygen and care, and soon, she began to respond. Her breathing improved, her pupils equalized, and she even let out a few small meows. Her family was able to see her and arrange transport to a local animal hospital. It may not have been a human patient, but it meant everything to that family. We are so proud of the compassion and care our crews show every day, and so glad Trixie is on the road to recovery! ❤

❤Happy National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week! Today, we kick off by celebrating our Medcom (911 Medical Dispatch Center) team. They are always there, ready to answer, ready to help, and ready to support. In some of the most difficult moments, they are the steady voice on the other end of the line, offering guidance, reassurance, and care. They are an essential part of everything we do, and we are truly thankful for each of them. ❤

Even though Easter has come and gone, we still had to share these moments with you 🐣 Across our Crawford, Saginaw, Bay, and Tuscola divisions, our crews found ways to celebrate together. From shared meals (yes… we’re still thinking about those deviled eggs 👀), to a few surprise bunny visitors, and plenty of smiles along the way… it was a good day. Holidays in EMS don’t always look traditional, but they’re still full of connection, laughter, and time with your work family. We’re so glad these moments were captured, and even more grateful for the crews who make them happen. 💛

🚑Challenge accepted… and handled!🚑 Our West Division Paramedic students decided to flip the script and put their instructor, Burke, in the hot seat with a scenario of their own. They tried to catch him off guard, but Burke stayed cool, worked through it, and nailed it every time. Maddie, Courtney, Sam, Alan, and Kody definitely brought the challenge… but Burke proved he’s still got it! Great work all around!
