The Luke Commission will be offering FREE screening assessments for children or adults who may need tonsil/adenoid surgery (T&A) or children or adults ear tubes (grommets).

This screening is intended for individuals with specific, ongoing concerns, as outlined below.

1. Ear Infections (Possible Ear Tubes)
Children or adults with:
- 3 or more middle ear infections in the past 6 months, OR
- 4 or more middle ear infections in the past 12 months, OR
- Persistent middle ear infection or fluid lasting longer than 3 months despite treatment

2. Tonsils & Adenoids (T&A)
Children or adults with:
- Frequent tonsil infections, such as:
> 5 or more infections in one year, or
> 3 or more infections per year over two years
- Difficulty swallowing due to very large tonsils
- Anyone who has been told they need their tonsils removed

Sometimes children may also have the following symptoms in addition to the above:
Loud snoring most nights for more than 3 months, especially with:
-Pauses in breathing during sleep
-Choking or gasping at night
-Very restless sleep or mouth breathing

Screening and consultation are ๐…๐‘๐„๐„.
If surgery is recommended, costs will be discussed and quoted on a case-by-case basis, depending on the condition and the procedure required.
