Trying out some different ideas for camp this summer! Chakra colors with leaves🌈 and the universe in geometric shapes!▪️🔻🔸
Of course my kids put their own spin on it with their own stories, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Then helped mom finish hers.🥰

The Starseed wand making playgroup was so much fun and it was a joy to see all the different costumes!😀
The kids worked hard on their magic wands and loved molding the clay. They even made a few of their own creations!
After that, we read the book, “Mama, What’s a Witch?”🧙🏼‍♀️
I couldn’t help but offer the kids a chance to pull a tarot card, they always get so excited to see what message the universe has for them today.✨
It was great to chat with the other moms too while the kiddos ran around freely and played!💟

Looking through old photos I can’t help but give a shout out to our camp dog Venus!🐕
Venus is always full of love and ready to cuddle anyone who will let her.🤎
To thank her for the love she gives, we would take Venus for her daily walk as part of the camp schedule.😊
The kids loved walking her and taking a bike or scooter for the ride too!🚲
Sometimes we would even take Venus to the turtle pond close by.🐢
I’m so grateful for the kiddos who attended Rae’s of Love & Light camp this year and I look forward to all the fun we’ll have next summer!😃

This was our final activity and one that I had been wanting to do for a while!☺️
The words, “I am”, are two of the most powerful words and when made into positive affirmations, can help shift one’s self-perception.🙏🏻
For this activity, we started off by reading the book, “The Magic Of Me, My Magical Words.”✨
The kiddos teamed up and took turns outlining each other’s body so they could see a full life-size version of themselves. How fun!🤗
Then, I asked the kids to describe themselves starting with the words, “I am”.🤔
This exercise helped the children to see themselves in all their greatness and to hopefully empower them moving forward.💪🏻

We made slime!!!🫟
I believe it’s important to ask children what they feel passionate about and then provide an environment where they can explore that further.💭
I asked each kiddo what activity they’d love to be able to do at camp and making slime was one of them!❤️
Not only was this a fun, hands on activity but the kids experimented and played with the slime in all sorts of different ways!😃
Bringing about creativity and imagination, two of the things I love to see.🌟

We explored the healing and energetic properties of reiki!🤲🏻
First, we read the book, “My First Reiki Book.”📔
Then, each child had a turn receiving reiki and giving reiki.🌟
Using a pendulum, we checked to see if our chakras were opened and flowing.🌈
This was truly a heartwarming activity to watch!💛
