We want to celebrate that 301 babies were delivered on the Family Birth Center in 2025! Congrats to all the families who welcomed their new additions last year, and thank you to our team who took such good care of them.

We realize March is a little late for an end-of-year celebration, but the FBC team has had a busy start to the year - delivering 14 babies in January and 20 in February!💙

Despite its simplicity, hand hygiene is still poorly practiced in many health care facilities. Levels of hand hygiene compliance for high-income countries rarely exceed 70%, calling for additional efforts to improve practices all over the world.

Over the last three years NMC has been working to get compliance rates up to at least 90%, surpassing that goal in June of 2024. As part of this process, NMC has been celebrating teams with high hand hygiene compliance. This month we celebrated the Lab, PCU, Diagnostic Imaging and Restaurant & Catering!

The DEIB Core Team at NMC is raising awareness of holidays and recognition months that you might not know about.

Did you know? St. Patrick’s Day is held every year on March 17th to observe the death of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. The day has been observed as a religious holiday, has been around for over 1,000 years and falls during the Christian season of Lent.
