Welcome Our New Executive Director – Deanna Carlson, LNHA, LALD
Deanna brings eight years of leadership experience as both a Nursing Home Administrator and Assisted Living Director. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Healthcare Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire and is licensed as both a Nursing Home Administrator and an Assisted Living Director. Her professional credentials also include certifications in leadership, CPR, mental health first aid, safety, OSHA compliance, infection prevention, dementia care, and True Colors facilitation, among others.
Her career journey is as diverse as it is impressive—beginning as a CNA, chef, waitress, and retail associate, and including eight years of honorable service in the U.S. Army as a diesel mechanic.
Deanna and her husband are proud parents to three kids. Thier family also includes a beloved dog, Archer. Outside of work, Deanna enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, listening to music, traveling, volunteering, and cooking. She is also a published author of three novels focused on self-care and leadership.
