In 2023, just four days after delivering my stillborn son, doctors gave me less than 24 hours to live. Exactly one year later, on February 17th, 2024, I received another grim warning from doctors, stating that if I became pregnant again, (there is a high probability that I am pregnant) there was a high likelihood that both my baby and I would not survive. Surprisingly, I had managed to defy the odds and survive the previous ordeal. The challenges began in January of the preceding year when I was hospitalized for the flu and severe dehydration due to hyperemesis gravidarium. Subsequently, I contracted COVID-19, which induced a Hyper Quagidol state in my body, leading to blood clots and thickening of my blood, ultimately depriving my baby of vital blood supply. Amidst these trials, my body developed shingles as a result of the stress on my immune system. I went into labor on February 12th, and my son was stillborn on February 13th, with a possibility that he may have been a twin. Following the birth, I developed a uterine infection that escalated into a systemic infection, and I was diagnosed with septic shock. My organs were shutting down, and in the midst of it all, I can recall my mother standing by my side as my organs failed, and my skin took on a yellow hue. It was a season that exceeded my strength and comprehension. Reflecting on my journey today, I attribute my survival to the grace of God. I continue to trust the process and find purpose in helping others, acknowledging the resilience that has carried me through such adversity. In the aftermath of being given less than 24 hours to live, I witnessed firsthand the capacity for healing within the human spirit and recognized the universal need for accessible emotional wellness resources. Driven by a fervent desire to share the tools and insights that had guided me through my own healing process, I soon welcome The Heart-Centered Community 2.0 in honor of my son, Thomas John, and giving glory to God, which stands as a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and transformative power of healing, illuminating the path for others to embark on their own healing odyssey. 🙏☝️
