We are an Assisted Living Facility located in The Shores, St. Augustine, FL. Family owned and operated for 22 years. At Riverside Cottages, we are different.

With over 42 years combined experience in providing assisted living care as operators/developers, it is our privilege to help and guide you with the important decisions regarding the care of your parent(s), relative, friend, or other loved one. The choice to reside in an assisted living facility is an important one. Our philosophy is that there is no need to further complicate the process with hundreds of documents to sign, confusing packages with different levels of care, or daily living activities that are charged separately. We offer comprehensive, all-inclusive pricing. We have both private and double rooms available. Regardless of the type of accommodation you choose, your loved one will enjoy home cooked meals, on-site barber and beautician visits, Internet and cable TV, laundry and housekeeping services, medication assistance, linens and toiletries, and engaging activities – all at no additional cost. Our facility is owned and operated by the same family that also established Grafton House, the oldest continuously owned and operated Assisted Living Facility in the nation's oldest city. At Riverside Cottages, our goal is provide a friendly atmosphere where each resident is truly thought of as an individual. The family management team, as well as our other caring staff members, understand that your loved one’s needs may change over time. We are prepared to adapt and respond immediately to any changes in care. We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to assisted living. Because Riverside Cottages is family-owned and operated, our management and staff have a personal, vested interest in the care of your loved one. We pride ourselves on having a high staff to resident ratio, meaning that your parent(s), relative, or friend will receive the individualized attention they deserve. Some of our staff members have been on our care team for 20 years. We have a unique approach to assisted living care. Our open, communal living environment means that instead of feeling isolated, your loved one will have the opportunity to interact with our other residents, and still maintain a sense of personal dignity.
