Some of you don’t need a push today.
You need a pause.

Your brain isn’t behind.
It’s carrying more than people can see.

The pressure.
The overthinking.
The constant “I should be further by now.”

That’s not laziness.
That’s a nervous system that hasn’t had a real exhale.

So before you try to be more disciplined, more productive, more “on it”…
Try this instead:

Give your brain one clear, doable win today.
Something small enough that your body doesn’t resist it.

Because your brain builds trust through follow-through…
Not pressure.

And when your brain trusts you?
Everything gets easier to carry.

💡Did you know that Narcissistic Personality Disorder is a real thing? Yes, it’s not just a term used to describe someone who takes too many selfies! 😉

People with NPD have an exaggerated sense of self-importance, a constant need for admiration, and a lack of empathy for others. So if you know someone who fits this description, don’t be too quick to judge them as just being vain or self-absorbed.

🤔💭Understanding NPD can help us all have more compassion and empathy for those who struggle with it.

Studies show that people who struggle with mental health issues are more likely to turn to drugs or alcohol as a coping mechanism.🍻🍷

But here’s the kicker - substance abuse can actually make mental health problems worse! It’s a vicious cycle that can be hard to break. 🔁💊🧠

TOP 3 work stress TIPS!

1. Set healthy boundaries by learning to say “no” and not taking on extreme workloads. (leave work AT work 🤯)

2. On your way home from work, make the mental shift from work to home by playing your fav tunes, motivational audio or that fav podcast. 🎧

3. Arriving home from work, be in the present moment by using all your senses. Take that walk, make a meal, take that bubble bath. 🛁

Are you tired of those pesky negative thoughts and self-talk creeping into your mind? 😤 Don’t worry, you’re not alone! Here are some tips to help you overcome them:

👉 Catch those thoughts: Pay attention to your thoughts and identify the negative ones. Write them down if you need to.

👉 Challenge them: Ask yourself if those thoughts are true or if there’s evidence to support them. Most of the time, you’ll find they’re not!

👉 Reframe them: Turn those negative thoughts into positive ones. For example, instead of “I’m not good enough,” say “I am capable and worthy.”

👉 Practice self-compassion: Be kind to yourself and remind yourself that everyone has negative thoughts sometimes. You’re not alone!

Remember, it takes time and practice to change your thinking habits. But with these tips, you can start to overcome negative thoughts and self-talk and live a happier, more positive life! 💪

I brought my bag of emotions! 😆 I had a fun time talking to kindergarteners about our emotions. 😜🙄🤣😊🥰🤪😤😭🤯⠀

Give children the gift of controlling their emotions. These sweet humans have the capability to master their emotions. At this age they are eager learners and LOVE to practice! ⠀

During my presentation a child asked me “WHY do we want to learn to control emotions?” I’m sure most of us are asking the same question! ⠀

Managing our emotions is an important LIFE skill. (Not just for little humans) 😉 Talking about emotions helps us understand more about why these emotions come up in the first place. It’s also natural to have emotions. So we don’t want to block them either. ⠀
*NOW ENTERING*[Emotion Regulation]⚖️ ⠀

🔎 Children can focus better⠀
🔎 Connect with friends better⠀
🔎 Better grades⠀
🔎 Better attitude about school ⠀

All these mentioned above helps the parenting and teaching process because the child is feeling better all around! 👏 ⠀

The best part is they grow to be healthy functioning adults. Yes!!! As adults we take these skills into our lives and apply them in our careers, relationships, etc. ⠀
