Hi! I’m Madi 🀍 You’ll usually see Haley as the face of The Humbled Doula, but I help behind the scenes keeping everything running β€” from client communication and scheduling to creating the resources and content that support our families.

My passion is helping parents feel informed, supported, and never alone in the journey of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Outside of work, I’m a mom to my almost eight-month-old son, Anderson (which is actually how I met Haley!), a creative at heart, and a huge Disney lover.

Baby is crowning β€” the head stretching the perineum, the β€œring of fire” that means you’re about to meet your child. The white coating you see is vernix, a protective layer. The shape of baby’s head? Totally normal β€” those bones overlap to move through your pelvis.

Notice the hands supporting, not forcing. Birth is guided, not rushed.

During the newborn assessment, providers check heart rate, breathing, tone, reflexes, and overall transition to life outside the womb. Listening to that tiny heartbeat helps ensure baby is adjusting beautifully earthside.
