Our Story

AFA consists of aestheticians, certified medical electrologists, permanent cosmetic tattoo artists, massage therapists, and a nurse practioner. Our team is passionate about helping you look and feel your best!

About Face Aesthetics was established in historic Saint Augustine, Florida in 1996 by Melanie Cowling. Twenty-three years later Melanie has built a treasured wellness spa with her co-worker Cathy Wasmund and her daughter Haley Lanay Cowling. We’ve helped thousands of people achieve their goals for over two decades! AFA is excited to announce another talented woman has joined our team! Angela is a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Florida and she’s all about aesthetics. Our practice here at AFA is dedicated to helping you with any body or skincare concern. We listen and create customized plans!

Skincare starts with a consultation to discuss daily product routine for further treatments involving; Fibro Blast, Chemical Peels, Signature Facials, Dermablading, Brow Shaping, Hair Removal, Acne Management Program, Eyelash Lift & Tint, Eyebrow Tinting, IPL Photo Rejuvenation (brown or red spots), Permanent Makeup (eyebrows, eyeliner, lips), Electrolysis (hair removal), Collagen Induction Therapy (microneedling).

Massage Therapy can be booked evenings and weekends. Haley specializes in Gua Sha Technique, Manual Myo-Fascial with Trigger Point Therapy, and Microcurrent Point Stimulation Therapy and has appointment availabilities. Massage Establishment MM30394
