You can be skeptical.

You can roll your eyes.

You can even think it’s weird.

None of that changes what it does in your body.

Wellness isn’t about retreats, juice cleanses, or perfectly color-coded morning routines.

It’s about what you choose to do every day, especially when no one’s watching.

Wellness can look like:

✨ Walking the dog instead of doom-scrolling.

✨ Saying no to the thing you don’t have the capacity for, even if you feel guilty about it.

✨ Eating food that gives you steady energy instead of crashing by 2 p.m.

✨ Making space for acupuncture or fascia work, not just when you’re desperate, but when you’re maintaining.

✨ Getting labs done so you actually know what your body needs, instead of just throwing supplements at symptoms and hoping something sticks.

It’s wild what people will spend money on without a second thought.

Hair appointments, nails, lashes?

No hesitation.

But bring up something like acupuncture, and suddenly it’s “too expensive” or “not in the budget.”

The thing that actually helps your health, energy, and stress levels? Somehow that’s a luxury.

Massage gets a bit more of a pass.

People book it for relaxation, and yeah, it can absolutely support your health if it’s the right kind of work.

But because it’s more mainstream, it’s easier to justify the cost.

Acupuncture? Still seen as fringe, even though it can help with pain, fatigue, digestion, migraines, sleep, all the things people are silently struggling through.

The real problem isn’t just priorities, but what we’ve been taught to value. Beauty over health. Hustle over rest. Symptoms over solutions.

People are used to burning out and calling it normal.

Most don’t know what it actually takes to feel better, because they’ve never had to think about it.

They have insurance through work, or a partner, or their parents. Maybe they’ve never had a major health issue.

And if they have? It was mostly handled for them.

Makes zero sense.

Acupuncture isn’t just for crisis mode when you’re crawling in barely able to move, relying on Advil or ibuprofen to get you through the day, and googling your symptoms at 2am.

It’s maintenance for people who want to stay functional.

Think about it like this:

You brush your teeth daily to prevent cavities.

You work out to stay strong.

You eat well to fuel your body.

You change your oil regularly so your engine doesn’t seize up.

But your nervous system, that thing that controls EVERYTHING in your body?

Most people think insulin resistance means obesity or diabetes.

Nope.

You can be slim, active, and still have it.

Think that might be the case for you? Check out these signs nobody talks about:

➡️ Constant sugar or carb cravings. Your body is begging for quick energy because it can’t use glucose properly.

➡️ Brain fog & poor concentration. Glucose is your brain fuel. If insulin isn’t working, your brain feels fuzzy.

➡️ Energy crashes after meals. That 2 pm slump isn’t laziness. It’s blood sugar going haywire.

➡️ Difficulty losing belly fat. Stubborn belly fat is often the last place insulin resistance shows up.
