We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Ray Matuza, a dedicated leader, generous philanthropist and cherished member of our UF Health family.

Ray served faithfully on the UF Health Flagler Hospital Board and the UF Health St. Johns Foundation Board, passionately supporting nonprofit health care and fundraising efforts across our region. His leadership touched many lives and his commitment to the betterment of this community will last generations.

Ray and his wife, Linda, have been guiding lights in St. Augustine since 1996. Their legacy of compassion and service continues to inspire us all.

Our hearts are with the Matuza family.

We are pleased to share that UF Health has named Patrick L. Green, FACHE, senior vice president and Northeast Florida regional president, which will include the oversight of UF Health Jacksonville and now UF Health St. Johns.

We are pleased to share that UF Health has named Patrick L. Green, FACHE, senior vice president and Northeast Florida regional president, which will include the oversight of UF Health Jacksonville and now UF Health St. Johns.

In Fall 2024, UF Health announced a new corporate structure and governing board for the UF Health clinical enterprise. This was an essential step in becoming a more integrated system to enhance our ability to deliver excellent care to our patients. This expanded role reflects Green’s expansive work along with other executive leaders, in managing the continued growth of clinical programs, services, and facilities.

It’s almost time for the 11th annual UF Health St. Johns Foundation Golf Classic presented by Hyundai of St. Augustine.

Proceeds from the tournament will be other UF Health Flagler Hospital Emergency Care Department.

The second annual Foundation 5000 will be held January 11, 2025, starting and finishing on the grounds of UF Health Flagler Hospital. Come run this fun 5K race and help support the UF Health St. Johns Care Connect Mobile Outreach Clinic.

We are excited to announce the unveiling of our new golf carts for the courtesy carts shuttle service operated by our amazing volunteers!

Thank you to our amazing volunteers who operate the courtesy carts shuttle service throughout UF Health Flagler Hospital. They ensure our patients and visitors get where they need to be on time and stress-free. Thanks to the UF Health St. Johns Foundation, the golf carts you'll now see around campus are beautiful and brand new!

No matter the weather, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, our complimentary cart is here to make your life easier. Need a lift between parking lots and campus buildings? Just give them a call at 904.819.4520.

On Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives while serving in our armed forces. Today, we express our gratitude to these fallen heroes.

Please note that UF Health St. Johns practices will be closed on May 27 to observe Memorial Day. However, Care Fast Urgent Care and the hospital will remain open.

The countdown to our 21st Annual Black-Tie Gala has begun!

On Saturday, June 1st, the Gala will be hosted at in St. Augustine. Proceeds from this event will help initiate the UF Health St. Johns Mobile Mammography Unit, elevating women's health care in St. Johns County.
