A Heartfelt Life Update From Our Family
This is the hardest thing we have ever had to share.
Our family has received devastating news. Our little guy Rascal has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of lymphoma, and we have been told our time with him is very limited. Even writing that is difficult to wrap our hearts around. Knowing we will likely lose him soon has brought a deep grief we were not prepared for.
If you have noticed we have been a little quieter on social lately, this is why. We have been trying to process everything privately while still showing up for work and daily life, even as our hearts have been breaking.
These photos were taken before we knew what we know now. Rascal just turned 7, and until very recently he seemed healthy, happy, and full of life. The way everything changed so quickly has been heartbreaking.
We are taking things one day at a time and focusing on what matters most right now keeping Rascal comfortable, loved, and surrounded by us through every moment we are given. At the same time, we are already grieving him, and the thought of the emptiness that will soon exist where Rascal used to be hurts our hearts more than we can explain.
This is not a business post or about supplements. It is simply a reminder that behind this small business is a family who loves deeply and is navigating real life and the grief that comes with knowing what’s ahead.
Anyone who has ever loved a dog deeply understands they are never just a pet. They are family, comfort, and unconditional love.
