Visit a body of water—lake, ocean, pond, or river—and take a moment to simply observe.

Notice how water moves: sometimes calm and flowing, sometimes powerful and controlled. There’s a quiet lesson in that balance.

Day 25/30 — Give Something Away 🌱

Yoga teaches us aparigraha — non-grasping, non- attachment, letting go of what we don’t need. Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. When we hold on tightly, we create heaviness. When we release, we create space.

So today, I gave away books to Little Free Libraries on a walk with — a small act, but a meaningful one. An example that it’s all energy meant to keep flowing.

What can you pass on today?

✨ That sweater sitting untouched
✨ A book that changed your perspective
✨ A plant ready for a new home

Giving isn’t about losing — it’s about circulating abundance.

You don’t need more to feel full. Sometimes, you just need to let go.

Step outside, press pause, and just listen.
Leaves rustling, birds in conversation, the rhythm of the wind—nature gently brings you back to now.

No distractions. No expectations. Just awareness 🌿

And notice… this is yoga, too.
Not the poses, but the practice of listening.

The same way you tune into your breath on the mat, you can tune into your body here—feeling where you’re holding tension, where you can soften, where you can simply be.

Less thinking. More sensing.
Less doing. More being.

Cleansing isn’t just about clearing your space — it’s about clearing YOURSELF. Your energy, your habits, your patterns. And doing it in a way that respects the Earth and the cultures these practices come from.

Today is all about pairing mindful consumption with mindful cleansing.

Before you grab white sage, take a beat…

White sage has been overharvested because of commercial demand, and that impacts Indigenous communities who have used it ceremonially for generations. Their traditions aren’t trends — they’re living practices that deserve protection.

So instead of defaulting to sage, try exploring your own lineage.

What did your ancestors use to cleanse their homes, bodies, and spirits?

You might find:
🌿Rosemary bundles in Mediterranean traditions
🌿Frankincense or myrrh in Middle Eastern lineages
🌿Bay leaves, lavender, or juniper in European folk practices
🌿Smoke‑free cleansing like sound, salt, or water rituals across many cultures

Day 18 of 30: Simple Eco Swap

You don’t have to overhaul everything at once. Just swap ONE thing in your fitness or self-care routine for a more sustainable option. Small changes really do create a cleaner, calmer environment to move and breathe in ✨

One simple switch I made both at home and in the studio? Toilet paper. We now use bamboo TP (and tissues!)—it grows so much faster than traditional trees, making it a more sustainable choice. And yes… we also have a bidet, which helps reduce waste even more 🙌

At home, I’ve been leaning into making swaps as things run out instead of tossing everything at once. My shampoo and conditioner ran out—so I switched to plastic-free bars. Dryer sheets? Replaced with reusable fabric sheets + a few drops of essential oils. Easy, gradual, and honestly… it feels really good 🌿

Simplicity isn’t about doing everything perfectly. It’s about making mindful choices, one step at a time.
