Chair yoga is often misunderstood as “easier yoga.”
In reality, it requires precision.
I’m a certified breathworker (The Language of Breath, Vivation) and trained extensively in chair-based movement, including Lakshmi Voelker’s lineage.
When we teach with the chair well, we’re not simplifying — we’re refining.
That’s the work I focus on in both my public classes and 1:1 teacher mentorship.

You don’t need to prepare for the entire week tonight.
You don’t need to brace.
You only need to meet the next small step.
If your body feels tight, move!
If your mind feels loud, focus on one point, listen to your breath, and feel your body.

For most of my life, I thought fast was better.
Faster workouts.
Faster progress.
Faster results.
What I’ve learned over time — especially through chair-supported work — is that slower movement often builds deeper strength.
Not dramatic strength.
Integrated strength.
That’s how I teach now.
Whether in Chair Yoga, Strength + Mobility, or teacher training, the goal isn’t to impress. It’s to integrate.
Slower isn’t less.
It’s sustainable.

One of the things I value most about the practices inside Tier 2 is repetition.
Not new sequences every week.
Not constantly “leveling up.”

Just steady, repeatable movement the nervous system can trust.

Right now inside Tier 2:
• Chair Yoga
• Strength + Mobility (chair-supported)
• Breath-centered practices

These are designed to be revisited.

Integration happens through return — not intensity.

• Daily yoga (including Flow 60)
