Being a physician requires dedication, character, leadership, creativity, and perseverance. She was born and raised in Bombay, India where she completed her medical school and subsequently immigrated to the U.S.A. She completed her pediatric residency at the Long Island College Hospital - Beth Israel Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y.in 2000, specializing in pediatrics and adolescent medicine. Bringing her talents to St. Augustine was an easy choice, as Dr. Manikal and her husband fell in love with it at first sight. She started practicing in 2000 and opened her own practice - Anastasia Pediatrics in 2005. She is currently on staff at Flagler Hospital. Dr. Manikal finds rewards in being able to have a successful practice in St. Augustine with strong community and parental support and her goal is to provide superior pediatric care to children of all ethnicities in St. Johns County and its surrounding areas - proving every day that a well child makes a happy family! Also, inspiring her every day are the sights and sounds of children and parents happy and well after successful treatment.
