Staman, MD and has one of the most experienced, renowned Team of Doctors, dedicated in providing comprehensive patient care in vitreous and retinal ophthalmology. All fourteen physicians are board certified medical doctors, fellowship trained ophthalmologists, specializing in the treatment of retinal diseases, laser procedures and surgery, using state-of-the-art diagnostic testing equipment, lasers, surgical instruments, research and studies to further enhance each diagnosis, condition and treatment.

Celebrating Dale P’s Remarkable Journey: A Heartfelt Send-Off 🎉 After 31 years of exceptional service, the Florida Retina Institute Jacksonville team, including Dr. James Staman, Dr. Abdallah Jeroudi, and many more, gathered to honor and pay tribute to Dale P’s remarkable career and forever-lasting impact.

Hosted at The Cheesecake Factory, the retirement lunch was a touching and memorable occasion, filled with sincere appreciation, meaningful stories, and a strong sense of camaraderie. Dale was presented with a commemorative plaque and a special message that read:
“Throughout your 31 years of service, you have not only been a co-worker and mentor, but a friend to many. You have set an example to be followed in the future and cherished by those of us that were fortunate enough to have experienced it ourselves. You will be missed.”

Held at the beautiful One Ocean Resort & Spa in Atlantic Beach, the Northeast Florida Optometric Society’s annual Fall Fest brought together leading minds in eye care for a full day of Florida Board-approved continuing education.

Dr. Fallgatter’s presentations on “Retinal Lesions” and “Secondary Intraocular Lens Fixation: A Retinal Surgeon’s Approach” sparked truly meaningful dialogue and strengthened connections across the optometric community.

Hello from AAO 2025! Several of our physicians—Dr. James Staman, Dr. Elias Mavrofrides, Dr. Jaya Kumar, Dr. Abdallah Jeroudi, and Dr. Thalmon Campagnoli—connected today at the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s annual meeting on its first day in Orlando.

Our doctors also showed their support for Dr. Jaya Kumar as she contributed as an instructor in the “Diabetes 2025: Course on Diabetic Retinopathy,” sharing her expertise in pharmacotherapeutic treatment of diabetic retinopathy and diabetic macular edema with fellow retina specialists.
