I’m sure this was scary for those first time parents, but how amazing that their doula happened to be right behind them and an ambulance was already there, even if she didn’t end up needing it. ❤️

Hospital restrictions because of COVID-19 are limiting who can be in the delivery room, and doulas say it's stripping moms of their birthing rights.

A Special Message for Expectant Moms:

We know you may be feeling anxious during what should be a very special and joyful time for you and your family. To help, we want you to assure you that your significant other and your designated support person, if you have one, will be a welcomed part of your delivery at Flagler Hospital.

Unfortunately, we cannot allow other visitors at this time, including children. Should you go into labor after hours, you do not have to enter through the emergency room. Instead, please park anywhere in the crescent-shaped driveway in front of the cafeteria. Call 904-819-4351, and an OB nurse will meet you at the double doors that are near the area marked “Maternity After Hours.”
