Nicole is our incredible Administrative Assistant — but that title barely scratches the surface. 🎄💛 Holiday Cheer at the Hyperbaric & Wound Care Center 💛🎄

There’s something truly magical about the joy of giving — especially during the Christmas season. This year, our team at the Hyperbaric & Wound Care Center in St. Augustine joined together to help support the Island Christmas Drive, a local charity partnered with Children’s Home Society of Florida, bringing hope and holiday cheer to children right here in our community.

Through a group effort — including the generosity of the owner’s family who secured the donation and our incredible staff who rolled up their sleeves to assemble this brand-new bicycle — we’re honored to play a small part in making a child’s Christmas morning a little brighter. Thanks Gramma! ❤️🚲

Witnessing the laughter, teamwork, and pure excitement as our team built this bike reminded us why this season matters so much. It’s about serving others, spreading kindness, and remembering the families and children who need a little extra support not just during the holidays, but all year long.

We are grateful for the chance to give back and to stand alongside organizations like CHS and the Island Christmas Drive who work tirelessly to bring hope, love, and opportunity to kids across St. Augustine.

🌟A New Era of Healing at Wound Care St. Augustine 🌟

We’re proud to introduce Saif Alsaeed, known affectionately as "Doc Saif". A Burns and Plastic Surgeon in his former country of Ukraine, Saif immigrated to the United States with his wife and children, bringing with him a deep passion for helping patients heal.

In just a few short months, he earned his Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, his Registered Nurse licensure and began pursuing his Doctorate — a testament to his dedication and resilience. In 2025, Saif joined the team at Wound Care St. Augustine, where he will continue his journey toward U.S. Surgeon Licensure under a preceptorship with our esteemed Medical Director, Dr. Sherif El-Salawy.

Dr. El-Salawy joined Mitch Hall’s team of Hyperbaric and Wound Care professionals in 2024, and together they’re building a first-class wound care center — combining compassion, advanced technology, and evidence-based care.

From standard wound management to cutting-edge modalities like hyperbaric oxygen therapy and skin substitutes, the results speak for themselves. The success stories are growing every week, and patient satisfaction is second to none.
