We are so proud of Philip! While he’s a familiar, friendly face in our dining room, he’s also aiming to become a future anesthesiologist. By contributing to the Team Member Scholarship fund through the Westminster Communities Foundation , we are creating a place where team members can succeed and where our community can actively support positive change!

At Westminster St. Augustine, the generosity of our residents does more than support our community—it transforms futures.
Meet Philip Mariano, a Westminster St. Augustine Team Member Scholarship recipient. Philip works in the Dining Room while pursuing his education, and thanks to the scholarship fund, he can continue taking college courses while working.
Resident giving helped Philip qualify for a scholarship at Florida State College at Jacksonville, easing the financial burden of school and allowing him to focus on his long-term goal of becoming an anesthesiologist.
This scholarship program - funded through charitable donations from residents - awards $20,000 - $30,000 each year to team members who demonstrate financial need and strong academic performance. It empowers dedicated team members like Philip to pursue higher education and build meaningful careers.
When residents give, they do more than donate. They invest in people, open doors to opportunity, and help shape brighter futures for the team members who serve them every day.
