The Run for the Roses arrived—and we ran with it! 🎉 🐴

Last week, we studied the field and placed bets on our favorite contenders. On Derby Day, we began with a Kentucky-inspired feast, then headed to Crichton Hall for the main event, where the energy was electric! The true stars were our neighbors and their stunning Derby attire, including handcrafted pieces!

We cheered on the race, sipping Derby drinks like the Lilly and enjoying Chocolate Kentucky Bourbon pecan pie. This celebration embodied community spirit. Cheers to mint juleps, elegant hats, and lasting memories. 🥂

Butterflies, blooms, and breathtaking style! 🦋🌺

Our 'Spring Into Color' event was a masterclass in elevating our well-being. We loved seeing our models own the runway in Chico's latest collection, followed by a luncheon featuring stunning mocktails, shrimp cocktail shooters, and fresh strawberry & feta salads.

Double the courts, double the fun! 🎯

We officially cut the ribbon on our brand-new bocce ball courts, and the energy is incredible. Set right on the water alongside our putting green, these beautiful cedar-edged courts are the new heart of our outdoor life.

We had an unforgettable time hosting 3rd Space Improv at Chrichton Hall. The atmosphere was perfect, with high-energy games and hilarious local humor, making it a top-notch experience. A huge shoutout to our brave volunteers who took the stage and had everyone in stitches.

What better way to celebrate our beautiful planet than with great food, live music, and flowers in full bloom? We opened our doors to friends and future neighbors for a spectacular celebration! 🌎🙌

Our talented dining team delighted us with a full spread featuring a fresh carving station, seafood shooters, stuffed mushrooms, and a full outdoor bar!

From the DIY flower truck to the sensational music by The Gratitude Steel Band, it was an event full of dancing, dining, socializing, and pure joy — shared with some of the most wonderful people. A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible!

Victory tastes sweet—and it looks a lot like a perfectly tossed beanbag! 🏆🎉

Our community came together for an unforgettable afternoon of competition as we faced off against our incredible team members in a co****le showdown.

While the resident team claimed the win, everyone had a fantastic time, laughing and connecting across the boards. Elevating our well-being is a team sport here, and we’re so grateful for a team that is clearly and plays hard alongside us.

In honor of National Volunteer Week, we are celebrating the hands and hearts that make our community so special. We are so fortunate to have dedicated neighbors like Louise and Jeanne who spend hours organizing twelve beautiful vases from three generous floral donations.

We are still buzzing from our Annual Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast, where we celebrated the incredible impact our community made in 2025. With over 62 initiatives supported both on and off campus, we are living proof that purposeful living has no limits.

This week, tram driver Reed traded his route for the podium to present “Understanding Iran: History, Context, and Current Events” to a packed room. He’s a former Naval Intelligence Officer, offering a briefing from ancient history to today’s headlines, bringing depth, clarity, and context.

Who knew we had so many 'cat whisperers' in our neighborhood? 🐈✨

We had the most wonderful time at Frisky Cat Cafe. It feels good to know that while we’re enjoying our coffee, we’re also supporting a rescue program that helps these sweet babies find forever homes.
