THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF MEDICAL BILLING COMPANIES OUT THERE! YOU PICK! BUT BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU PICK!

“The Full Circle Billing Company” where you provide them the level of care you performed on the patients, along with the diagnosis and also provide them patients demographics and a copy of the insurance cards. They do the rest. But there is also “The Software Billing Company” that rely on your office staff, that you pay the salary to, to perform most of the work. This type of billing company only transmit to a clearinghouse. Which one do you prefer for your practice?

The “Software Billing Company” charges a lesser percentage because they only transmit to a clearinghouse. You need to have one or two people in your office doing stuff that they don’t do for you, like CPT coding, ICD-10 coding, adding modifiers, etc., preparing patient’s balance statements, putting in envelopes and mailings. These employees will cost you 50 to $60,000 a year. Add to that the stamps, paper, envelopes and the 4 or 5 % of the gross collections that the “Software Billing Company” charges you, in addition to the billing software fee. Lastly, anything that is done wrong by your staff will delay your payment. Do you really want that headache?

The “Full Circle Billing Company” will charge you around 6.5 or 7 of gross collections, but they do it all. Saves you lots of headaches.

Starting next Monday, August 12, 2024 we will start interviewing to fill three additional positions for senior medical billers/medical assistant. If you feel you have the qualifications, please submit your professional resume to our office by faxing it to (904) 824-2226 or by email to stat@statmos.com or doctor@TheOrthobiologicClinic.com at your earliest convenience to be considered for the positions. The owner and director of the billing company for 27 years, a physician herself runs the company. Her husband, an anesthesiologist/Interventional Pain Specialist runs his practice next door.

Hourly compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. Our hours of operation are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday with an hour paid for lunch. On Friday you work straight from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm and you get paid for eight hours.
