At Flagler Health+, we understand that loved ones play a very important role in a patient’s recovery. It is also our responsibility to keep our patients, staff, and visitors safe.
To support this, an inter-professional team of physicians, infection prevention experts, and leadership at Flagler Health+ has established a revised visitor policy appropriate for the current state of COVID-19 in our community.
Beginning Monday October 12th, we are reinstating visiting hours from 8am to 8pm with the following guidelines:
• Inpatients will be allowed two visitors, over the age of 18, excluding patients in the behavioral health unit.
• All visitors must pass a COVID-19 screening, which includes a questionnaire and temperature check, and also wear a mask during their entire visit.
• Visitors and visiting hours will be modified as needed for labor and delivery patients.
• Patients arriving for surgeries and procedures will be allowed one visitor during pre-operation and recovery times.
• Emergency Department patients, except for those presenting with respiratory symptoms, will be allowed one visitor once they are placed in their treatment room.
• Special circumstances, including visitation for patients diagnosed with COVID-19, will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
