Cava Genealogy

Some time while I work on my life long project to create the whole "family forest" of my beloved birth town, Cava de' Tirreni, I come across documents from surrounding towns that have already been digitized and uploaded on familysearch.
Today I found the record of a triplet born from Vincenzo Sparano, who was born in Cava and his wife Vincenza Casulli.
This was pretty rare, and sadly, as I supposed it would happen more than 200 years ago, they didn't make it.
They all died, one day after the other. I cannot fathom the anguish their mother and father felt...

One nice thing about using the familysearch app is that you can keep track of all you have contributed to the "online world family forest".
I am personally entering thousands of names from my home town, and towns of my ancestors.
My goal is to reach at least 50000 names by the end of the year.((not counting the thousands I had already contributed before 2012).
It is my desire to help as many descendants of people coming from my town and the towns of my ancestors to find their roots and connect with long lost cousins.

🇺🇸We are what we eat, which brings me to realize how important it is to make sure that our family's great culinary traditions are passed down to our children and grandchildren and they do the same for their posterity.
As part of your family history, think about collecting as many family recipes as possible, your own, your siblings, your aunts, mom, grandparents and so on.
It is so easy to create a file with these recipes and then share them with the whole family so that they will never be lost!

Go in the attic, basement, your closet, wherever you have pictures stored, get them out, and SCAN them!
If you don't have a scanner, just take picture of each picture!!!
Since you have time, you can order them first, by date, by persons, by event, you choose.
Compito per oggi:
Vai in soffitta, nella cantina, nel garage, nello sgabuzzino, nel cassetto, ovunque tu abbia conservato le tue foto, e SCANNERIZZALE!
Se non hai uno scanner, semplicemente fa foto di foto.
Visto che hai tempo, puoi riordinarle, a seconda della data, delle persone, degli eventi… la scelta e' tua!
