🐣🌷 Sensory-Friendly Easter at Windy Acres Farm! 🌷🐣

Rising Lights Project is excited to partner with Windy Acres Farm to offer a special sensory-friendly time slot during their Easter Festival!

Families affected by disability are invited to enjoy the magic of the farm in a more supportive, lower-stress environment. During this dedicated time, participants can experience the Easter festivities — including the egg hunt and farm attractions — in a setting designed with sensory needs in mind.

Thank you to Fox Valley Special Recreation Association for providing Soothe Space for all participants!

Alexis is a Licensed Professional Counselor and middle school counselor with specialized training in ADHD and anxiety, and experience supporting clients with depression, academic challenges, and mood concerns. She combines clinical expertise with real-world school counseling experience to help clients navigate emotional regulation, executive functioning, and life transitions with clarity and compassion.

Outside of work, Alexis enjoys reading on her Kindle, exploring farmers markets, trying new restaurants and bakeries, and traveling to Arizona to visit family. Please join us in welcoming Alexis Matijevic, LPC, to the team! 🦊

Roni is a clinical MSW intern who is passionate about helping youth navigate anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and school stress through trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strengths-based care. Roni also works as a registered behavior technician (RBT). She has experience supporting children and adolescents across school, community, and clinical settings, including leading social-emotional learning groups K–12.
In her free time, Roni enjoys reading, running, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. She’s excited to support clients and families in a compassionate, welcoming space at Fox Clinical Services. 🦊
