Cigna halting implementation of their downcoding policy that was set to take affect October 1. They are now saying they are going to analyze, and only specifically targets those providers that consistently code level four and level five visits. It’s unclear how this is going to unfold at this time. But the worked! Keep reaching out to CIGNA to convince them how important it is to not blanket downcoding for all providers!
