Today's Stable Lane spotlight is on Cripple Creek Ranch in Harvard, IL.

Cripple Creek Ranch is a family-friendly professional Western facility and ranch that specializes in training, lessons, sales, boarding, clinics and horse rehab. All riders and disciplines are welcome.

Beginner to advanced lessons are offered, in addition to frequent roping, barrel, pole, sorting and ranch horse practice sessions. While the main ranch location is in Harvard, IL, the clinic location is in Lake Geneva, WI.

Trainer Christy Bourbonnais has been training horses since she was young, starting with breaking and training ponies. Her mentors have included Ray Hunt, Martha and R.E. Josey, Connie Combs, Bryan Neubert, Richard Shrake, and many more. Her training program is entrenched with slowly developing the horse by laying out the foundation and assisting the horse to find the right answers.
