Recovery work is stronger when it’s shared 🤝

The Minnesota Alliance of Recovery Community Organizations Recovery Summit is a two-day event bringing together people from across Minnesota to learn, connect, and strengthen recovery systems together.

📅 May 4–5, 2026
📍 Eagan Community Center

Across both days, attendees will engage in workshops, peer discussions, and collaborative sessions focused on building a more recovery-oriented future.

💜 Run for Recovery is live!

Robert Burrow and Veronica Navarro are taking on 26.2 miles at the Lake Wobegon Trail Marathon to raise awareness for substance use disorder and support recovery in our community.

They’re not just running a race—they’re running for hope, healing, and connection.

Caring for our environment is part of caring for our community:
• Visit Stearns County Environmental Services for recycling + waste resources
• Explore trails and green space at Munsinger Gardens
• Take a walk, pick up litter, or spend time outdoors

Small, local actions go a long way.

National Take Back Day is this Saturday, April 25!

This is a community-wide effort to safely dispose of unused, expired, or unwanted medications and support prevention efforts across our region.

Local opportunities include:
• St. Cloud VA Health Care System Take Back Day: 9 AM to 2 PM
• Sauk Rapids Police Department DEA Take Back Event: 10 AM to 2 PM (in collaboration with ARXG by Reconomy)

Most pharmacies also have medication disposal bins available year-round.

These events provide a safe, secure way to dispose of prescription and over-the-counter medications—and help protect our community, environment, and those who support it every day.

On April 21, LIUNA is hosting a Construction Career Fair right here in St. Cloud from 3:00–6:00 PM at the River’s Edge Convention Center.

Attendees can meet industry professionals, learn about union job opportunities, and explore training options.
