8 Days Postpartum… and we’re in the Salt Cave 🤍
Tucker is 8 days old today!!
He’s sitting beside me in his little car seat during our salt session — tiny, peaceful, breathing in the calm air while I soak in a moment to just be.
He has a little newborn baby acne (totally normal — those mama hormones are still leaving his system 🙃), and I’m navigating a sinus cold, postpartum chills, night sweats, and all the healing that comes with bringing a baby into the world.
It’s not glamorous. It’s raw. It’s sacred. And it’s real.
So today, we came to the cave...
There is something incredibly grounding about holding space for other people’s healing… and then allowing yourself to receive it too.
✨ Salt supports respiratory health
✨ It helps with congestion & inflammation
✨ It supports skin
✨ And right now, it’s supporting this mama’s nervous system
He’s tucked into his seat. I’m breathing deeply. And Bella Vita feels like exactly where we’re meant to be.
Postpartum isn’t about bouncing back. It’s about slowing down.
And today, we’re doing that in the salt 🤍
