Today we celebrated Daphne. She will be stepping away from being the administrator at CCV as she goes full time as the administrator at Topside in Goodland. She will be missed! We soon will welcome Simon, our interim administrator to CCV. Jairo Rodriquez will be our future administrator after he gets all the credentials. These two gentleman will be at CCV very soon. Lots of changes but we are excited and hopeful for a seamless transition!!

We were so excited to have the Pleasant Hill 4-H Club come to CCV! They brought delicious cookies and lemonade and played BINGO with us. It was fun to see all these kids and hear about their 4-H projects. Thank you to everyone that made this happen!

On Saturdays we have a group that we call “The Village Visitors” that come play cards and do a short devotion with any resident interested. Please remember that we love visitors and welcome you to CCV anytime!!

We want to extend a BIG thank you to Debbie Fiala for coming up to play “name that tune” with the residents. It was fun to see all the smiles and hear them singing along to those oldies. So much fun!!

We did something so fun this morning. We had a human “car wash” at CCV. Bubbles, dusters, pool noodles and a fan made up the car wash. The residents walked or rode through and were all giggles and smiles!

GOD BLESS AMERICA! It was a fun day at CCV! Each resident got a homemade t-shirt decorated with red, and blue stars then enjoyed a fun afternoon of BINGO and Root Beer floats. We ended the party singing one of our favorites, “God Bless America”. Happy Independence Day to YOU from all of us at CCV! ❤️🤍💙

Yesterday was National “thank a postal worker day” so we did just that. Everyone at CCV appreciates our St. Francis postal workers for all their hard work. 💙

Today at CCV we enjoyed “arm chair travels” to Charleston, South Carolina. Sandy Smull did the program and it was so Informative and entertaining! In July we will be “traveling” to Alaska with Killy Hilt.
