So many smiles, awesome costumes, great music, face painting, hot chocolate, and the best community vibes! 🧡 Huge shoutout to all the amazing vendors and volunteers who helped turn our parking lot into a Halloween wonderland of creative trunks and sweet treats! We can’t wait to do it all again next year! 🙌

We took a little bus trip to Marquette University to visit the Joan of Arc chapel. What a beautiful piece of history we have right here in Milwaukee!

Carving pumpkins was one of the highlights of the month for us at Howard Village! The creativity that came from the residents was such a joy to see. These pumpkins are all on display outside, so stop by and check out all of their hard work!

We had a wonderful lunch at Apple Holler, and the residents were very surprised when our volunteer for the day joined us, Margaret our former activity director!

October’s birthday celebration had the best turnout yet! Brett Gaertner is so talented and entertaining, we were so happy that he was able to perform for us again. Shirley outdid herself again by making the beautiful wreaths for raffle, and Heather and Tamika from By Your Side were so kind to sponsor our party, bringing a raffle basket! We even saw them dancing a little! Thank you to everyone who came and showed love to our October birthday guys and gals!

Howard Village has had so many beautiful butterflies all summer long due to the vibrant colorful flowers all around. It was a nice treat to see this gorgeous girl still enjoying them on an unseasonably warm October day!

With over 30 years of experience in dietary services, Antwion brings a true passion for cooking and community. He started his culinary journey at 19, became a sous chef at 25, and hasn’t looked back since. His favorite dish to make? 🍽️ Lasagna — and we’re all dying to try it! 😋

When he’s not in the kitchen, you might find him making music or catching up on some well-deserved rest — Antwion proudly admits he loves to sleep. 😴🎶

Since joining us, Antwion has made an incredible impression. He’s always engaging with residents, making sure their meals are delicious, their bellies are full, and their spirits are high. 🧡
We’re so lucky to have his energy, talent, and heart in our community. Welcome to the family, Antwion!
