✨ **The Power of Being a Beginner** ✨
2024 and 2025 have been my years of continuing education—diving headfirst into learning and growing in ways I never imagined. Just this past weekend, I completed a visceral manipulation class, learning about the incredible connection between our organs, vertebrae, and movement. It was fascinating to see how addressing the visceral can relieve pain and increase mobility.
But the biggest takeaway wasn’t just in the science—it was in a poem we discussed about **being a beginner.**
Lately, I’ve found myself a beginner in so many areas of life.
🔹 Running a nonprofit
🔹 Exploring visceral manipulation
🔹 Sending kids off to college
And through it all, I’ve realized—being a beginner isn’t about lacking skill or knowledge. It isn’t about being incapable of hard things. It isn’t even about how much effort we put in.
It’s about **attitude.**
How often do we hesitate because we fear being “new” at something? How often do we shrink back because we don’t feel like an expert? But what if, instead of fearing the beginning, we embraced it?
Being a beginner is a gift—a chance to grow, to stretch, to discover. It reminds us that **we are capable.** That **we can learn.** That **we are resilient.**
So whatever you’re starting—whether it’s a new job, a new passion, or a new season in life—embrace it. Lean into the discomfort, the unknown, the possibility.
**Keep going. Keep trying. Your attitude will shape your journey.** 💪✨
