This isn't a rumor. In May 2026, the US Department of War began publicly releasing classified files from a program called PURSUE - records tied to unidentified objects observed during military missions.

The latest batch, dropped May 22, logs 209 sightings: orbs, spheres, and objects military cameras couldn't explain. One clip is described as an unidentified object shot down over Lake Huron. Another shows a sphere moving over the Yellow Sea in 2022.
The Pentagon itself draws no conclusion. It just hands over the footage and lets the public decide.
