With summer baseball coming to an end, now is a great time to implement rehab and recovery. Overuse and repetitive motion injuries are common in baseball. Below is a great reference for any baseball parent (especially pitchers).
Some key takeaways:
- Do not pitch on consecutive days or in multiple games per day.
- Pitchers should not be utilized as catchers on âoff daysâ.
- Avoid pitching on multiple teams with overlapping seasons.
- Have a 2-4 month âoff-seasonâ that does not involve throwing.
- Young players should stay away from radar guns or other measurement devices that encourage them to consistently throw harder.

10/10 recommend any small business starting their work week with a nice cup of coffee and a purposeful team meeting. What are our high priority tasks? What cases are we facing clinical challenges with? Is a particular patient crushing it? What can we do this week to create IMPACT in our community? Mondays are refreshing and productive when starting the right way.

We are closed Friday June 6th and Monday June 9th, doing our part, attending the 2025 South Carolina Chiropractic Association annual convention. This weekend is always a great time full of learning and networking and seeing familiar faces. SCCA Membership also ensures that our lawmakers in Columbia continue to see the value of chiropractic in our beloved state. The future is looking bright!

St. George Spine Center was founded by Dr. Nathan Page in September 2019. The past 2 years, Dr. Page has practiced in Charleston, SC. Dr. Page was captured by the small town charm and sense of community that St. George has to offer...thus, it was time to embark on this new journey.
Dr. Page is a February 2017 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. A Charlotte native, Dr. Page grew up playing competitive sports and saw firsthand how chiropractic care can optimize performance on and off the field.
