Ancestral Origins Test. This is so cool. We begin by taking a mouth swab from you and send it in to our lab. They then run a genetic test on it to tell where you came from and put it on a really cool map with geogenetic markers. Lipid Panel vs. VAP Cholesterol Test
Let me begin by saying both are fantastic tests to use to check your cholesterol levels. There are a few differences you should consider when deciding which test is right for you. The Lipid Profile is one of our famous $49 test and includes levels for HDL, LDL, Total Cholesterol, Triglycerides, and Cholesterol/HDL
Ratio. Theses results come back within 24-48 hours of collection and do require a 9-12 hour fast. The VAP Cholesterol test is a $79 test, now even though there is a significant price
difference, the VAP test 16+ factors rather than the 5 that the Lipid Panel runs. It also required no fasting, this may be a better option if you cannot make an early
morning appointment so you can eat throughout the day. The results on the VAP usually take 3-4 days to come back.
