Dinner sometimes doesn’t look the most appetizing… but some curry, country style ribs and fried veggies were on point last night. I’m fairly mechanical when it comes to food intake. I’ve eaten pretty much the same thing every day for the past 2 months. This was a change-up to my regular dinner.

I started back in August of 2023. Changed my diet to start, then January 2, 2024 I started giving myself even more caloric perimeters and then 2 weeks later I got an annual membership to the gym and starting walking 30 minutes a day and incorporated resistance training. I lost 10lbs this past week (first week of exercise) totaling 78lbs lost since I started in August. With a long journey ahead of me, I am happy with the progress, but so very unsatisfied with a desire to continue in the right direction. Onward and upward!

I have now adjusted back into eating to feed metabolism. It’s weird for me to eat within the first 30 minutes of my day, but fasting consistently is really not necessary for me and actually not great for my blood sugar levels. Individuals with A1C higher than 5.7 may find tremendous results with intermittent fasting. Balancing blood sugar levels and caloric deficit is the name of the game for me. Simple but powerful pic. -

Hello out there. I’ve been MIA for quite some time here. I’ve had some major life changes and have been back full keto for about a month and a half. I’ve already lost 70lbs, and am feeling great back on track to getting to where I want and need to be for my health. I am doing what I have found to be a tremendously successful route to weight maintenance and overall health for me.

My routine: take vitamins first thing. Eat - protein cookie between 12-2p everyday. Have a snack between 2p-4p (often Kirkland roasted garlic and herb almonds, or some with cheddar dip). Eat dinner between 5p-7p - typically 4 eggs with cheese, some keto bread, tortilla, or muffins. Then a snack before 9pm (typically a keto ice cream bar).

All of this is usually under 1,400 calories.

The food is delicious, and it’s not overwhelmingly difficult to maintain. I eat a lot of the same foods because that works for me. I’m progressing and will incorporate exercise within the next week or two to accelerate weight loss, but also to maintain good health and longevity.
