My name is Peggy Weeks and I am the owner of Prickly Pear Preschool and also the classroom teacher. I have been teaching in the field of Early Childhood Education for over 30 years. I am a graduate of Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Child Development. My experience teaching preschool aged children falls in both the private and public-school sectors. As a teacher, I am deeply passionate about early childhood education and the importance of providing a loving and safe environment where children can grow and learn. At Prickly Pear Preschool, I strive to foster each child’s natural desire to learn with the right amount of classroom instruction, good old-fashioned fun, and lots of TLC. Prickly Pear Preschool accepts children 3-5 years old and potty trained.

We are having a "Classroom Estate Sale" on Friday, September 5th from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM and Saturday, September 6th, from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Everything must go...toys, books, furniture, plus lots of household items and clothes! Perfect opportunity for teachers, home school parents, and others!!! Y'all come check it out and help Miss Peggy clean out the preschool.🌵❤️

Today was a bittersweet day for Prickly Pear Preschool as we said goodbye to our final group of students. We've had seven amazing years filled with fun, laughter, and wonderful memories.
