Once upon a time, there was a man who wanted to find happiness and success in his life. He prayed day and night, hoping that God would guide him towards enlightenment. After months of waiting, he finally had a dream that he was wandering in a forest, searching for answers.
The next morning, he decided to follow his dream and went to the woods. As he was walking, he stumbled upon a strange sight โ a fox with no legs lying between two rocks in a shady spot. The man was puzzled and wondered how the fox managed to survive without being able to hunt for food.
He decided to hide behind a tree and watch the fox. As the sun began to set, a mighty lion appeared with a fresh kill in its jaws. The lion placed the meat before the fox and then walked away.
The man was amazed by what he had just witnessed. He realized that he had been praying for the wrong thing all along. He thought to himself, "Wow, I don't need to worry about anything in life. I just need to trust in God, and everything will be taken care of."
Feeling confident and enlightened, the man decided to follow the fox's example and surrender himself to God's will. He stopped working, stopped planning, and stopped worrying about his future.
Two weeks later, he found himself weakened and starving, with no food or money to survive. It was then that yogi came upon him. The yogi asked what he was doing. When he explained the yogi asked him, "and why are you emulating the injured fox and not the generous lion?"
What is it that you're emulating?
