I understand my sister Sheryl’s beautiful home and business have sold! So many mixed emotions for the place she worked so hard for to make it what it was. She gave up so much, a lot of times her own happiness to provide for her residents and family. I would pray to God to find a way to buy it so I could leave everything it was, for my Sissy. Have her memory live on, a place for her family, her children and grandchildren could continue to gather together. A place set in stone with her memories, her things that no one else could touch. Her place just as it was the day she died! 😭It was and still is so incredibly hard to accept that she is gone and I will never visit her again. I guess God for whatever reason did not answer my prayers. I just pray he will show me why and take this feeling, this deep deep anguish, anxiety from me. Some days all I want to do is scream, the most horrific scream releasing all the pain built up inside me! I love you Sheryl, not only were you an amazing sister, but you were an amazing beautiful person with a heart so huge. I am so sorry for all of the saddness, hurt you had to deal with here! I know you don’t care about the material things here now and God must have taken you because he said you have had enough! All we have now is uour memory and the toughest part is that there is nothing tangible we can hold! Love you Sheryl!

On behalf of my sister Sheryl, Iwant to thank all of the amazing staff that stood by her and didn’t sell her short. Cary, KC, Duane, Josephine! You are amazing! To the families that know Sheryl, she loved your family members. They were not just income to her. Even in death there is a reward and that being said, the state worker that contstantly hounded her as been relieved of her position. The next is yet to come! Continue to pray that the deal to be worked out happens so her residents she loves continue to be in their home. We are so blessed that the Lord continues to look out for her! I have come back every year and helped Sheryl. She absolutely loved her staff, her residents and their family. I loved her residents as well! I hope to see you soon!

We have some wonderful kids in the high school who are pen pals to my residents. These kids are so awesome and the residents appreciate every thing that they do. Today we were gifted with letters and some activities for them to do. We are thinking of a way to repay their kindness. I think this is absolutely great that these kids are taking time out of their day and remembering these people and making their days a lot brighter. Thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You all rock!!!

At lunch today the residents were treated burgers and fries from Ty's Malt Shop!!! They loved it and said those were the best burgers they had in a long time!!! Way to go Ty!! You're a hit!! 💞
