Vitamin D deficiency is the most common vitamin deficiency in the United States, and it can easily be corrected with supplementation. As a nation, we do not consume enough vitamin D rich foods and more importantly, we do not get the sunlight exposure that is necessary to activate vitamin D and unlock all of its health benefits for our body.
