It's our 5 Year Anniversary! ๐ฅณ๐๐ผ๐พ๐
What a trip it has been! I can't thank the Hobbins Medical Family enough for supporting our team and the Direct Care Model in Northwest Indiana! Because of you all, our practice grew from an idea of what Primary Care should be into a flourishing practice that places the doctor-patient relationship above all else. It took just 2.5 years for us to fill the practice, I can't describe my gratitude to those who have placed their trust in me.
Huge thank you to my family, my staff, former and current, and most importantly, our wonderful patients! Can't wait to see what the next 5 years has in store for us!
While my practice is full, let's keep talking about the benefits of Direct Primary Care; our community deserves to have more access to this type of care, hopefully we can find the next doctor who wants to be a part of the movement!
A Message from Dr. Hobbins 6/1/2020
Itโs Launch Day for Hobbins Medical, and for me, the realization of a dream a lifetime in the making. I calculated risks, studied, prayed, and worked relentlessly to plan this out perfectly. I never envisioned that I would launch my practice during a horrific pandemic while social and racial tensions boil over, and our cities burn to the ground. In the immensity of this all, I realize that not speaking out is part of the problem, but I struggle to know how I can add to the solution. I see it all, the death of George Floyd, our cities burning, and the rifts between the masked and unmasked. Dividing lines have been drawn everywhere. We must acknowledge them, and individually seek to erase them peacefully. We all have a unique talent, perspective, or gift that is our strongest weapon against division, and I encourage you to lovingly wield yours now. For my part, I have been trained to listen, and that is what I offer to anyone seeking to be heard. I hope and pray that you and your family are healthy and safe during this time.
