Exercise class has become a pretty big deal at Kenwood Plaza! Several residents enjoy doing them each morning around 9am! Haley hosted the class this am! Several residents wanted to do more of each exercise! 😲
We had chili and cinnamon rolls for lunch and bible study after lunch! Always a great day when cinnamon rolls are involved! Now you know why we exercise each day!🤣🤣

Dean was always full of smiles and very kind. He appreciated everything that was done for him. A true man who looked forward to his sons visits everyday! He loved watching his sports and chatting about them.
God bless you Dean! You are in the highest of the highest places! We miss you! ❤️

Betty Crocker, AKA Sierra made Peach pies from scratch today!
They look beautiful!❤️
All of our meals at Kenwood Plaza are homemade! Potatoes are peeled! Ckn fried steak is breaded and fried! Peanut butter pie is made from the heart! We pride ourselves with our food!💕🎉
We do meals for the home bound and daycare as well.
Yes, our residents are spoiled! But shouldnt they be?!?💕💕

The Tigers had a big Win Friday night! Homecoming was followed with a game night at the school. 🎉

Today we started off with Coffee and cookies thanks to Linda McAllister! She does this event twice a month. We were busy and didnt get any pics of this!
Next up was Exercises with Kelli! ❤️ she worked them over more than Richard Simmmons would have!🤣
Lastly, was our painting class! Adrianna, our volunteer wanted to head this class as she loves to draw! Plays out we have some artists in our group! 💕 Thank you to our city clerk Pam Watson for drawing the designs for us!
Such a fun day of activities!!

We started our mid morning social hour with a Delicious, I’m talking 2 piece delicious Cream Cheese Pumpkin Bunt Cake!!! Made by our one and only, Esmeralda! One of us had three pieces and it wasn’t me! LOL! You’ll have to guess! We talked about being a Farmers wife to Crops to kids to favorite animals and our pets! We had some a good conversation and lots of laughs!

Good morning! 75 degrees and cloudy outside, so we started off our morning with Exercising and then we had Bible Reading! We read about Sampson and Delilah, the story of Noah and John the Baptist and Jesus! Next is Lunch, Beef Pot Roast with Mashed Potatoes and Brown Gravy and Carrots! With a side of Pumpkin Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting!

We brought the Kansas State Fair to Kenwood, this afternoon! Mini pronto pups! Yum!! We read about the fair, when and where and how the fair started!Everyone talked about their favorite ride at the fair!
