Did your surgeon mention prehab for your prolapse repair surgery? Unfortunately, Most don't.

It's my duty to tell you that the strength and coordination of your pelvic floor going into prolapse repair directly affects how your tissues heal coming out. A few sessions before your procedure could change your rehab tremendously.

Constipation is NOT your friend, ever, and especially after a prolapse repair. Straining at stool puts direct pressure on your fresh repair and that's the last thing we want.

The fix: Water. Fiber. A footstool under your feet on the toilet. (Yes, the squatty potty is a medical device. You're welcome.)

Is a hysterectomy in your future? ⬇️

Think of your uterus as a long-term tenant. It's moving out and that's okay. But the foundation (hi, pelvic floor!) needs to be strong before the move so everything settles well after.

Pelvic PT before your hysterectomy is prep work your recovery will seriously thank you for.

After a mastectomy, it's totally natural to hunch forward a little, your body is protecting itself. But that guarded posture can tighten your diaphragm, mess with your breathing, and yes, even affect your bladder and pelvic floor. One of the best things you can do? Learn to breathe again... slowly, deeply, all the way down. We can help with that.

DID YOU KNOW?

A tense jaw may be a sign of a tense pelvic floor...

🕰️ Time to teach those muscles that it's finally time to let go.

The body tends to hold stress in patterns. Just like your shoulders creep up during a long day or your jaw tightens when you’re concentrating, the pelvic floor can also stay subtly contracted without you realizing it.

Your jaw and pelvic floor are both part of your body’s broader tension and stress response, and they often mirror each other. Over time, that constant “low-level” clenching can contribute to pelvic pain, difficulty relaxing to p*e or p**p, painful s*x, or weaker coordination in those muscles.

Girlfriend-to-girlfriend… you don’t have to play doctor with your own body.

Step 1 is just getting an evaluation. Let someone trained in pelvic health figure out what’s actually going on so you don’t spend months guessing.

My door is always open. DM me or visit the link in my bio to take the first step. 🤍

Big laughs, little leaks?

This isn’t something to laugh off.

This isn't rare. It’s just rarely talked about.

Leaking isn’t a normal part of being a woman, having kids, or getting older. It’s a sign your pelvic floor needs support.

The good news:

- it’s common
- it’s treatable
- you don’t have to plan your life around crossing your legs before a sneeze

Come see me!
