Does this facility employ my physician?
No. Your physician, along with the other medical service providers, including anesthesia, radiology, or pathology specialists, who use this facility are independent contractors. Because these individuals are not employed by our facility, we are not responsible or liable for their acts or omissions.

Our Common Procedures: Tympanoplasty
Tympanoplasty is a surgical technique to repair a defect in the tympanic membrane with the placement of a graft, either medial or lateral to the tympanic membrane annulus. The goal of this surgical procedure is not only to close the perforation but also to improve hearing.

Will I get a shot before surgery?
Yes. An intravenous (IV) line is started before surgery so we can administer medication as needed; this may include medication to reduce anxiety or antibiotics prescribed by your surgeon.

Our Common Procedures: Trigger Finger Surgery
The surgical procedure for trigger finger is called “tenolysis” or “trigger finger release.” The goal of the procedure is to release the A1 pulley that is blocking tendon movement so the flexor tendon can glide more easily through the tendon sheath.

Will I get to speak with the person doing my anesthesia before my surgery?
Yes. Before surgery, you and your anesthesia provider will sit down to discuss your medical history and review the anesthesia plan; this is when you'll be able to voice all of your questions and concerns. Feel free to call our admissions nurse if you have concerns that should be addressed prior to the day of surgery.
