On Thursday, July 17, the Family Guidance Center team will present at the United Way of Greater St. Joseph PACE session on the topic "The Basics of Addiction and Tips for Working with Individuals with a Substance Use Disorder." We are excited to share our expertise, experience and stories about this critical topic - including how to speak with someone who is living with addiction.

Learn the basics of addiction, including how addiction starts and progresses over time, as well as strategies from a Peer Support Specialist on how to support and work with an individual with substance use disorder.
