Do you know what all of your options are following a mastectomy? Generally, you have four:
surgical breast reconstruction,
off-the-shelf breast prosthesis, Custom breast prosthesis
or to have aesthetic flat closure.

But one of these is not covered by Medicare. Currently, custom breast press thesis are not covered by Medicare, taking this option away from you. No two women are the same and with each unique situation, you should be able to choose the solution that works best for you.

Please help us advocate to make this an option for those following surgery due to a breast cancer diagnosis!

Sharie Conard and Trisha Roberts had the privilege of joining host Kim M. Becker from HomeTown Living! They had the opportunity to explain and share the benefits of Custom Breast Prosthesis for women following breast surgery.

Spreading awareness is essential to ensure women do not go without! We struggle with this sometimes because it is a private and intimate situation that is not always discussed, especially not openly, comfortably, or publicly.
