We are a holistic wellness center embracing everyone: People of all sizes and body types, all races, colors, religions, genders, gender identities and expressions, sexual orientations, national origins, genetics, abilities, and veteran status. My Philosophy
My approach to body brain balance is a holistic confluence of Eastern and Western practices, embodying the philosophy that self-care is healthcare. The Western therapeutic healing methods treat acute and chronic issues, while the Eastern healing methods work for healthcare maintenance, and injury and illness prevention. Here are some modalities I offer:

NeuroSculpting® Therapeutic Massage, Positional Therapy, Reiki and Energy Work, Pranayama Breath Work, Meditation, Yoga, Personal Training, Wellness Coaching. As your practitioner, I am committed to finding the balance of modalities that’s right for you, in order to create an individual practice you can maintain and enjoy. By working together regularly we can create space and connection in the body, mind and spirit, inviting more breath to circulate, and more energy to flow. The more energy and space and connection we have in our bodies and minds, the better we can perform our jobs, and the more we can offer our families and communities. We are able to live more vibrant lives when our bodies and minds are functioning at their full potential. 4 years ago today I shared two prenatal sessions back to back — posted the same day, different mamas, different stages of pregnancy.

And if you notice the masks — this was during Covid. At that time, Body Brain Balance required masks for everyone. If you joined the Body Brain Balance family after it was deemed safe to remove them, that’s why you may not recognize that chapter. Safety first, always. 💜

Megan was at the beginning of her second trimester receiving Prenatal Therapeutic Massage / Positional Therapy on the table, and Ania was toward the end of her third trimester receiving Prenatal Thai Yoga Massage on the mat.

I love showing the different ways support can look!

And just to be clear — whether you’re in your second or third trimester, you can choose either table or mat. It’s not about how far along you are. Both are supportive and beneficial options.

I haven’t posted many massage videos lately because Body Brain Balance is currently booked with a waiting list — which I’m deeply grateful for. It’s such a huge honor and pleasure to share my self-care toolbox with you all and to be part of your health, wellness, healing, and nervous system regulation team! 💜

With that, it doesn’t really make sense to actively promote sessions that are already full. I’ve been putting more energy toward classes and group offerings where there’s more room to welcome folks in.💜

That said, these felt sweet and worth resharing.

For anyone curious:
In my practice, prenatal massage (table or Thai mat) is offered during the 2nd and 3rd trimesters. First trimester is still considered contraindicated in the massage world. Even though that thinking may be shifting and debated, until it’s fully and clearly debunked, I’m going to continue honoring that guideline in my work.

Prenatal Therapeutic Massage / Positional Therapy / Reiki
Designed specifically for pregnant bodies with supportive cushions for safe, comfortable side-lying and even prone positioning (yes, belly-down with proper support — a total game changer). Sessions focus on alignment, injury prevention and rehab, relaxation, and encouraging healthy breath, blood, and energy flow.

Prenatal Thai Yoga Massage
Done fully clothed on a mat. A blend of acupressure, assisted stretching, and gentle movement to support alignment, circulation, and deep relaxation.
Traditionally in Thailand, Thai Massage sessions are 2–3 hours. Here in the U.S., I offer 90-minute and 2-hour sessions. I do not offer 60-minute Thai Massage sessions, as the work is designed to be more spacious and thorough. (Table massage is different — 60-minute sessions are available for that.)
Prenatal care is one of my absolute favorite offerings.

Our Story

ARE WE A GOOD FIT? Seeing Through the Hands is not geared towards one "type" of client. Rather, I work with each individual and their body as a canvas, seeing what the experience of guided breath, supported movement, and intentional positioning will create. ​ My clients include people of all ages and abilities, from elderly to infants. I work people who have many different demands on their bodies, including athletes, pregnant women, performers, health practitioners, artists, people recovering from all types of injuries and surgeries, people with limited mobility, cancer patients, trauma survivors, people in hospice, as well as people with unique individual conditions. I believe Bodywork in the form of Massage, Positional Therapy, Yoga, Personal Training and Hula-Hooping has unique ways to give our mind, body, and spirit more room for movement and for strengthening our natural curves and alignment, more room for growth and releasing, more room for breath and awakening, and more room for pleasure. ​ If this sounds like something you would like to explore in your body, then I would be excited to work with you.
