G4 Funeral Home Construction is proud to have been selected to assist Korey & Kerri Robinson of Robinson Funeral Home of Spirit Lake, IA. Korey and Kerri recently broke ground on their 2nd funeral home located in Spencer, IA on Thursday, April 23, 2026. Over 50 people from City of Spencer officials, Spencer Economic Development Corridor (SEDC), State of IA officials, family and friends attended.

The new funeral home will encompass 7,200 s.f. and service local and surrounding families of Spencer, IA with a full service funeral and cremation services.

It will feature a drive under canopy leading to a spacious lobby, chapel with seating for over 150 people, community room with seating for over 100 people and include kitchenette for catered receptions.

The funeral home will also include a business office, private arrangement room, cremation area, flower room, prep room and 3 stall garage. Approximately 70 off-street concrete parking stalls will also be provided.

Construction is expected to take 8 months and be completed later this year.

The recently completed LeRette Funeral Chapel, Inc. in Red Oak, IA and owned by Brian and Dawn LeRette, held there Open House this past weekend. Over 450 community people attending the 2 hour event. The event offered personal tours, live music and grilled food provided by The County Cattlemen's Association.

The new, 9,124 s.f. funeral home included a 1,000 s.f. lobby chapel, community room, offices, arrangement room, selection room, first viewing room/private family room, open kitchenette, oversized 3 stall garage, prep room, cosmetizing room and 80+ concrete parking stalls.

Dawn and Brian want to thank the community and community members that helped them with this event and patiently waited for the completion of the their funeral home.

Great progress the last 2 weeks at the new LeRette Funeral Chapel located in Red Oak, IA. Interior rough-in complete, sheetrock hanging and taping complete, exterior doors and windows installed, concrete parking lot 3/4 completed. Will begin painting 7-6-25 and also installing exterior stone work. Typically 13-15 subs on site daily. Great progress the last few weeks! Rough-in's completed, some windows and exterior doors in, getting ready ready to insulate, forming up the concrete parking lot. 26 subs on site 6-13-25. Hopefully get the insulation in this week and then get ready for sheetrock. The interior rooms will start to shape up. Nice work Don and Jeff!!
