Midwest Periodontics: Steven R. Southard DDS Midwest Periodontics is a dental office that specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease, and the placement of implants.

Midwest Periodontics was founded by Dr. Steven Southard in 1988. Dr. Southard graduated from the University of Kansas with a Ph.D. in dentistry and specializes in periodontal diseases. He has been a dentist and has owned the Midwest Periodontist business for over thirty years. Jeanette Day, the dental hygienist at Midwest Periodontics, graduated from UMKC and has worked at Midwest periodontics for over twenty-five years. The dental office has three surgical assistants on staff. Brandi, Mindy, and Haley, the assistants, who love to care for and make the patients feel relaxed and comfortable. Last but definitely not least our receptionist, Leann, always has a friendly smile to welcome each patient, answer questions, and help the patient feel at home.
