Excited to share our latest publication in JSES Reviews, Reports, & Techniques 📄.
Our systematic review compared Arthroscopic Bankart Repair, Open Latarjet, and Arthroscopic Latarjet for anterior shoulder instability.

🔑 Key takeaway: the Open Latarjet procedure showed lower recurrence rates and better functional outcomes, particularly in patients with significant bone loss or multiple dislocations.

Proud to contribute to the growing body of evidence guiding how we treat shoulder instability — and grateful to my co-authors and mentors for their collaboration on this project.

Thrilled to share that I’m joining the Southwest Michigan Center for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. Growing up near St. Joseph, I’m grateful to return to and care for the community I know and love. Even more excited to be working alongside an incredible group of surgeons who are dedicated to providing the best care for our patients.
