Here we go, another week, another bunch of stuff to get done, a lot of worries to expend, and in the midst of all of that, another attempt to regain a sense of inner peace.
So for this week, I've done a reading. I asked Spirit, "How may I regain my sense of inner peace in the face of so much turmoil in the world?".
This message is for everyone; please take what resonates with you, and if it doesn't, I wish you a peaceful day in any case. π₯°
Here's Spirit's message:
Card #1
In the face of emotions that are negative, that bring us down, that make us lose heart and hope, laughter is always the perfect salve. Spirit doesn't really mind where the inclination to laugh arrives from, whether it's a joke told, a funny story shared, a bit of light sarcasm (or dark sarcasm if that works for you! No judgment!), a funny show, an ironic plot twist that creates a belly laugh. A child doing something silly or cute, an animal sitting in your lap or bopping at your knee with a toy to get you to play. Laughter is the great healer.
Card #2
We are all grieving. Quite literally. The grief is personal, it is cultural, it is worldwide, it is collective. We're overwhelmed by news that continues to go from bad to worse. We have to remember that grief has its place in our lives; it can teach us about our own faults, force us to rethink fixed beliefs, and cause forward motion simply in order to resolve itself. Spirit says: Acknowledge it, feel it, embrace it, and move forward even if the grief doesn't go away. One foot in front of the other. The message here isn't "get over it!", it's "embrace it, respect it, hold it, let it be part of who you are". You feel grief because you're caring, loving, and know deeply what matters to you. Those are all good things. Hold space within yourself for grief to be a conduit for change because it wells up in the places in our lives where we can truly help others.
Card #3
And so Spirit sends us Archangel Uriel to close this reading. And what a perfectly fitting messenger he is. Uriel is the archangel of divine light and wisdom, and he arrives here not with fanfare, but with a steady, quiet flame held out in an open hand. Here, he says. Take this. You already have everything you need - you simply cannot see it clearly right now.
That is Uriel's gift: illumination. Not the loud, dramatic kind, but the kind that comes when the fog lifts just enough for you to take one sure step forward. He is grounding energy - practical, wise, and deeply calming. He doesn't promise to remove the chaos. He promises to help you see through it.
After the laughter that heals us, and the grief that shapes us, Uriel reminds us that inner peace was never something to be found out there in the world. It lives in the light within you, and it is always there, even when the world does its very best to convince you otherwise.
This week, call on Uriel when you feel overwhelmed or confused. Ask him to illuminate the next right step; just one step, nothing more. Light your candle, get quiet, and trust that the wisdom you need is already inside you. He's just here to help you remember that. π₯
